Founded in 1966, Reading Is Fundamental, Inc. motivates students everywhere to read by providing free books to families who need them most.
RIF at Cowell Elementary- All students received one free book. How exciting!On November 24, all the students at Cowell Elementary came to the library to receive a free book from RIF (Reading is Fundamental Inc.). The students were delighted and were hoping to receive more than one book. Luckily, we will do this two more times, and they will receive two more books. Yea!!!!!
During the book distribution, each class completed a motivational activity. The papers were placed in a box and a winner was drawn. The prizes included a RIF teddy bear, pencils and some hard cover books, but the best prize was the RIF book. (Click on arrows to see all pictures.)
